Earth Day Crayon Melt Craft

This beautiful Earth Day craft is made from crayon shavings and wax paper.

Materials:
  • Earth coloring template on white paper
  • blue and green crayon shavings
  • pencil sharpener
  • wax paper
  • newspaper
  • iron

Directions:

  1. Make crayon shavings by using an old pencil sharpener.
  2. Color your Earth pattern using crayons.
  3. Place the Earth on top of a piece o wax paper.
  4. Sprinkle crayon shavings on top of the Earth.
  5. Put another piece of wax paper over the picture.
  6. Place a cloth or newspaper on top of that and iron gently on low until crayons are all melted.
  7. Cut our your Earth and hang in a window.


You could eliminate the Earth pattern and still make a great looking Earth.
